Simulation of feeding glass

The simulation of the glass feeding process can perfectly be performed with our CFD software NOGRID points.
The following problem was created by the ICG-TC25 members. For more details see ICG-TC25 Bench Mark Problem II: "Gob Forming Benchmark".

Glass making processes from containers to tableware to TV glass begin with a droplet (gob) being delivered to the forming machines. In a great measure the success of the entire operation depends on the uniform quality of the gob. For the purpose of this benchmark the gob delivery system for a large champagne bottle will be modeled. This process was selected because it is far enough removed from current practices to avoid concerns about proprietary information. However, it is close enough to current champagne gob weights and shapes to closely many gob forming processes.
