If you want to perform a thermal analysis of the cooling of a specific object using simulation then our meshless CFD software NOGRID points is an ideal solution. In this example, we demonstrate the cooling (or heating) of a Mandalorian helmet. Starting from a geometric model - either imported from your CAD system or created using our CAD preprocessor COMPASS - you can generate a computer model of a specific geometry in a very short time. Compared to mesh-based methods, this allows for much faster setup and early insight into the object's thermal characteristics.
NOGRID points shows how the heat is transferred either through heat conduction, heat radiation or by convection via fluid flow.
